Locomotive 66587 was designed by Electro-Motive Diesel and arrived in the United Kingdom on 21 April 2007 and entered traffic with Freightliner in the company's original green livery with yellow cabs and Freightliner logo. The locomotive remained in this livery until 10 June 2019, when Freightliner presented 66587 at Southampton Docks in Ocean Network Express magenta to mark Freightliner's new partnership with the global container shipping company. Named As One, We Can, this is the first time that Freightliner has painted one of its locomotives entirely in a customer's branding.
