I advise that if a model is supplied to you on supports that it is often best to leave said item on supports whilst painting, some supports can be removed prior, but in order to get a good paint job please leave the model on the main supports
Main Details - Either a spray can or Airbrush with proper airbrush paints is best suited for these models.. hand painting with a brush may not result in the best details.
Finer Details - I've found using sharpies and fine brush pens are a life saver when it comes to painting the finer details, please use a magnifying glass and wrist support for the smallest of details
